One of the most adult things I've ever done since the launch of my business has been joining the Chamber of Commerce in Sonoma. The Chamber is run by a fabulous group of women and I had the honor of photographing them around the historic square a few weeks ago. I really respect what they're doing for the community and wow are they a bunch of hard working characters. I went to a mixer at the Moose Lodge the other day with them and wasn't that fun. If you own your own small business up here, I highly recommend becoming a member! Here's a few snaps from our time together, enjoy!
Patricia is the leader of the crew and what a bad ass she is! We've had coffee a few times and she's always jotting down a list of folks she wants to introduce me to or people that I should meet. That's one of the things that I really love about living in this small town, personal introductions and the ability to connect with folks one on one in a way that rarely happened in SF. I'm so happy that I was able to give them all some new not so corporate headshots to put up on the website. If you own a small business and think you should step up your visual presence online, we should talk. I've been having a blast working on customized stock photos for businesses along with getting them great pics for their About page! You'd be amazed at how many different backgrounds you can get within a one block radius!
Have a great week!
